Quick prep of educational quiet time activity for young kids

We know all mums are very busy, but did you know using just 5 minutes you can prepare an easy educational quiet time activity for your little one to learn and play?

Today I am going to share with you one of my all time favourite, a simple “Look and Find” activity.

Equipments:

How to do it:

  1. On a piece of paper draw a picture with simple outline and huge empty space inside the picture (so that you can fill in the patterns as explained later).
  2. Fill in the items you would like your little one to look for (see my ideas below)
  3. Write down a simple instruction on the top.

That’s it. Very simple.

The reason why this is one of my favourites is that it is very versatile. Here are some of my suggestions.

I always draw the picture with simple outline and big empty space inside for me to fill in the items
I made this one for my son to get familar with the Chinese numbers
Here I stuck 4 pieces of A4 together. Kids get very excited when they are working on a big piece of paper.

Learning is fun and inexpensive.
