Exploring magnets with the book “What Makes a Magnet?”

I read this book with J a few months ago and since then he has been asking me to do this magnet experiment with him.

He had to rub a magnet on a needle

Yeah, it worked. We turned the needle into a magnet, and picked up a paperclip.

Also picked up this wire to wrap around the package for the bread.
And my hairclip
And my key
He is using my ruler to cut the foam.

He followed the instructions on the book and made a compass
